I am delighted to be joining Dubai British School Jumeira as a Teacher of Physical Education. I am a passionate PE teacher with 11 years of teaching experience, including the last 9 years at a leading independent school in the UK, where I have taught pupils across the full age range.
I have a particular passion for gymnastics and love creating lessons that are fun, engaging and inclusive, while encouraging every pupil to challenge themselves and develop their skills. I believe in celebrating every success, big or small, and creating a positive environment where pupils feel confident to participate, learn and achieve their personal best.
I am very excited to begin my international teaching career here at DBSJ and look forward to getting to know the pupils, working alongside colleagues and becoming part of the Dubai British School Jumeira community.
Outside of school, I am a keen sportswoman myself. Having previously played hockey at National League level, I continue to enjoy keeping active and regularly take part in fitness classes. I love bringing my own enthusiasm for sport and an active lifestyle into my teaching.
