At Dubai British School Jumeira, we believe in a healthy and balanced lifestyle for our students. Our catering provider, Leela’s Lunches, offers students healthy and comprehensive meals, snacks and beverages, including a 3-course healthy lunch. You can order food in advance or on-site. At DBS Jumeira, our students will thrive in a rich array of clubs and activities, catering to diverse interests. We also partner with external providers to offer paid out-of-hours opportunities (after-school activities), empowering students to pursue passions and develop new skills beyond the classroom.
All school uniforms can be purchased from our chosen provider, Magrudy’s. More information can be found on the School Life Page.
Our DBS group students gain places at the world’s leading universities including Oxford, Cambridge, and John Hopkins.
We pride ourselves on inclusion and welcome all types of students. We provide high-quality education for all children, including gifted children and those requiring more learning support. Personalised learning programmes are developed for students with specific needs on a case-by-case basis, and these programmes include access to appropriate resources and support and curricular options. For more information, see our Inclusion page.
We offer school transport via Arab Falcon, an RTA approved company. Parents need to deal with the Arab Falcon directly for their needs, including reservations. Please contact the Transport Manager, Ms Farah Shah via telephone on +971 (0) 50 1107063 or via email on farah@arabfalcondubai.ae
We hire highly trained and qualified practitioners who are leaders in the field. The majority of our teachers are British, although there is a mix of countries represented. We also have other nationalities represented in the teaching cohort, depending on the specialisation (eg: French). Administrative staff are hired locally and internationally.
Students from Foundation Stage 2 onwards may use the bus.
