Hello, DBSJ families! My name is Anthony, and I am delighted to be part of this wonderful school community as a Primary Computing Teacher.
I’d like to share a little about myself, so you can get to know me better.
For the past decade, I have taught and led computing across British international schools in the Middle East and Asia, working with children from EYFS through to Key Stage 3. Along the way, I have come to believe that computing is at its best when it is playful, purposeful, and rooted in curiosity, encouraging children to create with technology rather than simply consume it. That means helping children explore emerging technology safely, confidently, and with real purpose, so they can enjoy discovering it, aspire to create with it, and achieve genuine understanding.
I am excited to learn from our brilliant teaching team and to help our pupils grow into thoughtful, capable, and confident digital citizens.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and have always had a love of exploring and travelling. I am excited for all that Dubai and beyond has to offer, and I can’t wait to discover it!
